On April 2nd, the 4th World Autism Awareness Day - Teen Art Exhibition and "Whispers of Color" documentary trial screening organized by the Franklin Foundation and OC Dance & Music was successfully held at the OC Dance & Music campus in Irvine! Two pieces of artwork donated by our Heartik Club were exhibited at the event, with one of them-The Children of Stars-receiving a gold award in the competition.
Through participating in this event, we have gained deeper understanding and empathy for children with autism. We have come to realize how rich their inner emotions are, as shown by the colorful paintings they create. We have also learned that art education can be of great help to children with autism, as they no longer feel lonely or afraid when accompanied by art.
We are willing to communicate with them through the language of art, accompany them throughout their lives, and hope their world is no longer lonely because of us!
