DIY Christmas Tree Event for Autistic Children, hosted by the GNHS Branch

On December 8th, the GNHS Branch hosted a Christmas event at the Great Neck House. As participants slowly began to trickle in, we led hands-on activities focused on arts and crafts that encouraged families and children to be creative, collaborate, and feel the holiday spirit. Everyone had the chance to decorate personalized Christmas trees–with an array of ornaments and festive lights to use–and create paper snowflakes. 

The occasion provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests could bond with family and friends and enjoy some festive cheer, with the holidays approaching fast! We wish a Happy Holidays to everyone! Thank you to all who attended and contributed to making this event special.
