Los Angeles Branch Held 1st Charity Sale at the 2024 Fall Youth Entrepreneur Fair!

On November 11th, our LA Branch held the first charity sale at the 2024 Fall Youth Entrepreneur Fair! After weeks of preparation, gathering paints, and making posters/a banner, we offered paints, Chinese calligraphy works, Christmas decorations, snacks, and scratch art paper.

Despite being new to this, our team’s enthusiasm and creativity shone through. Four of us stayed at our vendor. At the same time, two other volunteers and a volunteer’s younger brother sold our stuff by walking around the fair with snacks/decorations and encouraging people to buy things to help autistic kids. This strategy was surprisingly helpful, and even more vendors imitated us as the fair went on. Ultimately, we successfully sold three Chinese calligraphies, two paints, some ornaments, and food. This event not only raised funds but also highlighted our commitment to supporting kids with special needs.
