On November 19, 2023, Heartik Club held its charity sale at Great Neck House. This is the first time that our club is hosting its charity sale indoors. Four of our members participating this week arrived at 9:00 am today to set up our booth. They made necessary preparations to ensure our sale can run smoothly and successfully from 10:00 am when the market opens to 2:00 pm till it ends.
During today’s charity sale, we were glad to see a steady flow of visitors visiting our booth throughout the sale to purchase or make a donation and complement the work we are doing. We were delighted to see a total of 8 donations made by different customers of the Farmer’s Market. Additionally, we sell 8 pieces of bracelets hand-made by our members. Overall, today’s sale was a big success, we raised a total of $38 to help special needs children. We look forward to our next sale, and using the money we’ve raised to host events for special needs children. It was a pleasure for all of our members to engage in such a meaningful event on a beautiful Sunday like this.
