On June 18th, 2023, our club participated once again in the Great Neck Park District Farmers Market to sell our artworks. The market was open from 10 am to 2 pm, and as per the market management regulations, our three members arrived at Firefighters Park at 8:30 am to set up our booth and start our business officially at10 am.
To ensure the smooth running of every vendor charity sale event, we always plan and prepare our original artworks one week in advance, print flyers, contact the media, and reserve a booth at the market. The weather was nice and cool, and there was a stable flow of visitors, with more people coming around noon to inquire about and express their interest in purchasing our artworks. It was mentioned that we are a charity organization established by high school students, and the residents were very supportive of us. As a result, the charity sale was successful, and we were able to sell four pieces of artwork, generating a decent amount of income. We also distributed over 60 promotional flyers of three different types. The members and volunteers who participated in the charity sale were thrilled and felt a sense of accomplishment because our club has gained more funds to support the education of community children and improve the lives of children with special needs.
