On October 26th, we commemorated Amy Peters with the vendor family in Glen Cove.
Volunteers had arrived early to help us unload supplies and arrange tables. Once everything was set up, all participants gathered, and our charity sale began. The very first item sold was a Taba squishy for $10. At noon, a ceremony was held to honor the gentle lady who founded the market and sadly passed away this week. Everyone held hands, closed their eyes, and observed a moment of silence. Afterward, the charity sale resumed, and we sold a fair number of items. A few customers even contributed extra funds to support us. Time passed quickly, and by 1 p.m., everyone began packing up and taking down the tents.
Overall, we had a steady stream of customers stopping by and admiring our artwork. Several patrons were willing to support us. Today's charity sale was a success-we enjoyed touring the area and supporting nearby booths!
